Ahmed K.A. Abdullah

Ahmed K.A. Abdullah was a research associate and a PhD student at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in the DATA research group.  He holds a bachelor in Electronic Engineering and a Master in Applied Computer Science and Engineering. After his graduation from the master, he worked as a researcher and teaching assistant in WISE-DINF at the VUB, after that he joined one of the big consultancy companies and worked for as a consultant software engineer mainly on projects with the European institutes. Ahmed is passionate about research, development and entrepreneurship, his passion guided him to the DATA research group in the faculty of Economic and Social Sciences & Solvay Business School where he could combine that passion with his enthusiasm about data. His research at the Data Lab was on smart hybrid prediction and optimisation of complex problem with the focus on applicable optimised algorithms for mobility's decision-makers.
